Metal Valves
Metal valves are used for the control of the flow of water, both above and below ground. They come in different guises, and have different operational actions. The Ball Valve with its' lever action is used for a quick method of switching on and off, requiring a turn of only 90 degrees to accomplish the action, whereas a Gate valve requires several screwing actions to reach the same outcome. A Non Return valve ensures that water flows in one direction only, and when used as a foot valve, will ensure the suction line remains full of water.
